2017 Excel ESG 2550AHR Hydraulic Surface Grinder, a robust medium-sized precision surface grinder featuring hydraulic automatic longitudinal and cross-table feeds together with rapid powered wheelhead elevation. (Ex-College Machine) The machine is equipped with a 500 x 250mm electromagnetic magnetic chuck, hydraulic power pack, coolant system, low-voltage work light and comprehensive operator control panel. Heavy-duty cast construction provides good rigidity and stability for precision grinding applications. The ESG 2550AHR uses a high-precision direct-drive grinding spindle and is designed for accurate surface grinding and consistent surface finishes. Excel specifies one flat and one V-way for the longitudinal slide and twin V-ways for the cross slide.
